Welcome! I'm Anita Friedrich (Ani), a photographer, graphic designer, nature and travel enthusiast. My passion for arts quickly grew into a hobby and into my career. Since 2017, I have become obsessed with photography and other kinds of art that I decided at the age of 30 to start a new career. “Photography found me, not I found it. It came into my life as a thunder when I witnessed one of the most spectacular sunsets of my life. The fun has begun after that day”.
I am originally from Hungary, and I used to work for a big travel agency in Europe for many years as a travel assistant. I have travelled Europe and some parts of Asia, but my dream was to visit the United States. I decided to pursue my life in California and I am currently based in the sunny and beautiful San Diego.
I graduated with a dual Associates Degree of Art (AA) in Photography and Graphic Design at Mira Costa College in 2021. I focus on lifestyle & beauty images, also on weddings, engagement and couple photos. I pay attention to details in my editing process as well. Happy to mention here that I won Alexander Stemplewski’s (@alexanderthegreat) editing contest in 2020 in Los Angeles with one of my photoshop portrait edits. My specialties related to graphic design are magazine layouts, menu & logo creation, album covers & movie posters and lastly but more importantly, book jacket design. I have published a book jacket for a writer friend of mine in 2020, called “Heaven for an Atheist” by Chad McKinney, which I am very proud of.
When I’m not holding my camera or brainstorming on some creative projects, I love playing volleyball, hiking, biking, kayaking, basically anything outdoors.
I truly love what I do and my mission is to “Fulfill Dreams Through My Lens and Through My Digital Pen”.
I am looking forward to capturing your next adventure!
